Credentialing Specialist

Pharmacy First is in need of a talented professional to join our team who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of documentation necessary for pharmacy credentialing and working with the pharmacy in order to obtain current and appropriate documents.

 

The Credentialing Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Handles phone/e-mail inquiries from retail pharmacies related to credentialing
  • Serves as point-of-contact for issue resolutions involving credential acquisition or maintenance
  • Solicits and maintains pharmacy networks of credentials
  • Tracks licensure and other area-specific required credentialing documents and update database as needed
  • Researches, documents and resolves credentialing issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifies issues that require additional investigation, evaluation and/or escalation to management; ensure appropriate follow-up

 

Desired Skills:

  • Proven success in customer service and client support
  • Experience with managing projects and tasks in an efficient manner
  • Effective analytical, oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Systems and software proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Data Entry and/or Credentialing experience a plus but not required

Data Analyst

Pharmacy First is in need of a highly analytical candidate who is as skilled in healthcare analytics as they are in business management. The Healthcare Data Analyst duties include organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing pharmacy claims data to optimize business operations and communicating their findings through the use of data visualization and detailed reports.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Compiling and organizing pharmacy demographic and operational data; taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks
  • Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal services and achieving administrative goals
  • Identifying trends and operational highlights through the analysis of complex data sets
  • Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
  • Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders and to drive business performance
  • Create and maintain data interpretation and analysis models with various reporting components from multiple data sources
  • Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Healthcare Administration
  • 4+ years experience mining healthcare-related data as a data analyst
  • Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
  • Visual Basic Programming experience preferred
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Reconciliation Specialist

Pharmacy First is looking for a talented professional to assist the Reconciliation team by comparing billing claims against actual receipts, research discrepancies, and enact resolutions toward securement of all monies due to our clientele.

The Reconciliation Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for incoming calls and e-mails from retail pharmacies and providers related to reconciliation providing problem resolution when necessary in a timely and professional manner
  • Tracks daily electronic remittance from payers and validates same against billed claims
  • Contacts payers and pharmacies to discuss discrepancies and resolutions
  • Documents as necessary all client contact discussions using the intervention process flow
  • Works regularly on open interventions, researching and resolving as quickly and professionally as possible
  • Identifies issues that require additional investigation, evaluation and/or escalation to management; ensure appropriate follow-up with payers and pharmacies

  • Ability to analyze billing statements and compares receipts to statements
  • Effective analytical, oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Proven success in customer service and client support
  • Experience with managing projects and tasks in an efficient manner

Accounting Specialist

Pharmacy First is looking for a talented professional to perform technical accounting activities that include processing accounts payables, verifying cash receipt documents, maintaining financial records and reports, and analyzing and resolving discrepancies.

The Accounting Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Match and file accounts payable
  • Attach AP backup documents to transactions in Great Plains (GP)
  • Accounts receivable collections
  • Weekly AR debit batches
  • Weekly deficit debit batches
  • Argus emails
  • Enter/double check/file bank forms
  • Enter Cash receipts
  • Match AMEX backup to statements
  • Record ERDs in GP
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly rebate emails

Competencies:

  • Proven success in basic bookkeeping and collections
  • Proven success in a detail-oriented environment
  • Experience with managing projects and tasks in an efficient manner
  • Effective analytical, oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Systems and software proficiency, including Dynamics GP, Outlook, Word, Excel and Access

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience
